Bridge Day
The Grace Hopper Celebration is co-locating with the Richard Tapia Conference. Bridge Day creates a space for attendees from both conferences to spend a day together. Bridge Day is for 100 students from the Richard Tapia (50) and Grace Hopper (50) Conferences. The students will be selected from the over 900 scholarship applications we have received and will be by invitation only. Bridge Day is fully funded through scholarships by Microsoft and NSF. Activities include a tour of ‘the underground’ city at Disneyworld, lunch, and a team building exercise at Epcot.
TechLeaders for Social Innovators
Open to women technologists at all levels, this one day workshop will be held in conjunction with GHC. It will showcase, discuss, and inspire participants on the potential for the positive influence of technology around the world.
A program of the Anita Borg Institute, TechLeaders promotes and enhances leadership skills for technical women at all levels. Brings together powerful women exercising major influence on technology from industry, government and academia. Provides a venue where women leaders meet to share ideas, tactics, and strategies and expand and deepen relationships with peers in the technical community.
