| Past Grace Hopper Celebrations have resulted in collaborative proposals, networking and mentoring for junior women, and increased visibility for the contributions of women in computing. This year's theme, "Ubiquity," focuses on the ubiquity of the impact of computers on our daily lives and the ubiquity of the impact women are making on this technical force.
The sessions consist of:
- Invited Plenary Speakers
- Technical Papers
- Panels and Workshops
- Technology Innovation Forums (TIFs)
- Technical Posters
- Birds of a Feather Sessions (BOFs)
As in years past, both technical and professional topic submissions are welcomed. In keeping with the theme of Ubiquity, the Grace Hopper Program Committee is especially encouraging technical submissions (papers, panels, workshops, TIFs, posters and BOF sessions) that cross disciplines and other boundaries. Submit your papers, posters, and other submissions now! Deadline: October 1, 2001. |
